Kennel Club research shows Olympics failing to inspire fitness

06 08 2012

Research carried out by the Kennel Club ahead of the organisation's International Agility Festival (August 10-12) has revealed the 2012 Games hasn't inspired Brits to get fit, with 60% less active this year than last.

In comparison, 50% of dog owners claim their dog inspires them to get more active. Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies and fitness guru Rosemary Conley are backing the Kennel Club's Get Fit with Fido Challenge, which encourages dogs and their owners to get fit together.
